Jim Haworth

Jim began his music education in school on clarinet. He later chose to study classical and jazz piano and enjoyed being part of his high school big band.  When the rock and roll band Jim was playing with needed a bassist, Jim jumped in and quickly fell in love with the bass guitar. As a part of the trio called August, Jim participated in the recording and producing of several albums.  

In 2017, when A Measure for Nothing had a need for a keyboardist, Jim was recommended, and he readily accepted the invitation to join the group. In addition to playing keyboard and bass guitar, Jim assists in the technical aspects of the orchestra, arranging sound equipment such as microphones and amplifiers for rehearsals and performances. Jim enjoys the orchestra as a welcome diversion that expands his exposure to a wide variety of music genres.
